The rattle is one of the first external sensory stimuli that our babies will experience. That is why it is a good habit to give this type of toy from the first months of life, since from 3 to 6 months is when they can learn the most from them and get the most benefit from them.
The teething process can begin at 3 months of age and its development can extend up to 14 months. Although the exact age at which teething begins will depend on genetics, there are some signs that indicate when the child is beginning this process and needs a baby teether, such as: gums that are redder than normal, restlessness, anger and crying, excessive salivation and removing the pacifier to put the hands in the mouth.
