Sensory Stimulation

In the first years of life, the brain is busy building its wiring system. The activity in it articulates small electrical connections called synapses.

The amount of stimulation babies receive directly affects the number of synapses that form. The Repetitive and consistent stimulation reinforces these connections and makes them permanent but, if they are not used, they can end up disappearing.
