Functioning:

Through blows with the mallets on the sheets that emit a different sound. Those that are smaller generate a higher sound and, consequently, those that are larger emit bass.

The sound is produced due to the vibration of the sheet which, when hit, emits a musical note. If you hit it from left to right you will hear the sound of the musical scale.

The sound of this instrument can vary significantly depending on the size and hardness of the mallet with which the blades are struck. The harder it is, the louder the sound and the lower it is, the softer it is.
