For musical education and development, it is interesting to introduce children to more complex musical instruments. These not only require a high degree of concentration, but also train motor skills.
Our miniature instruments inspire them to make music and generate an understanding of the connection between music, rhythm and movement. This in turn promotes sensory perception and ultimately also personal development.
For babies, the world is a great adventure, which they encounter anew every day with curiosity.
It is a percussion musical instrument made up of wooden slats arranged horizontally according to their size. Its configuration resembles a piano keyboard.
It belongs to the family of idiophones, that is, those instruments in which the body itself acts as a resonant material.
Operation:
By hitting the plates with mallets, they emit a different sound. The smaller ones generate a higher pitched sound and, consequently, the larger ones emit bass sounds.
The sound is produced by the vibration of the sheet metal, which, when struck, emits a musical note. If it is struck from left to right, the sound of the musical scale will be heard.
The sound of this instrument can vary significantly depending on the size and hardness of the mallet used to strike the reeds. The harder the mallet, the louder the sound, and the softer the mallet, the softer it is.
