In this case, we work on the routine of putting away and picking up the games and toys. Each thing in its place. In this way, we take care of the toys and keep order in our room or playroom.

There are some aspects to take into account when teaching and working on this routine:
*Everything has its place.
* The way to create the habit is to start very young with us, the adults, helping.
* It is a good time to share with the family and even to take stock of the toys that may no longer serve their purpose, for example, because they have broken down.
* It is important to respect the children's developmental level. They will learn step by step.
* It is necessary to direct the task with basic, structured, one-by-one instructions, i.e., "now put the dolls in their basket and put it on their shelf," etc.
* It can be fun to have a space, drawer, box, etc. for items that have been lost or are not part of their central toy. This way nothing gets "lost", even if it is left loose.
* Once they understand this routine, it is very motivating to ask them to help us pick up other things around the house, such as magazines, their clothes, etc.
